Life for Americans during the Great Depression was not easy. A lot of people lost their jobs and didn't have enough money to buy food for their families. The Works Progress Administration (WPA) provided jobs to many people that needed them. In those jobs they built roads and buildings. When doing those jobs they got money that helped them feed their families. In history, the Great Depression was a time where a lot of people struggled.
